Bollywood 101: 10 Hindi Films to Watch in Celebration of India's Independence Day

In recognition of India's Independence Day on Aug. 15 we chose to assemble an introduction to Hindi movies for those keen on plunging their toes in one of the biggest entertainment worlds on the planet. We constrained it to Hindi movies from Mumbai (with the exception of "Bombay") as India creates almost 2,000 movies every year and has been in the business since the mid twentieth century.
